Primary Level Video Lessons

The Primary Level videos include the lessons required to continue to build a child's literacy skills. This second level of lessons covers the phonemes that begin to build on the foundational language alphabet component. In order for a child to read and spell effectively, they must begin to master these slightly more complex concepts. These Primary Level concepts will then become the building blocks for expanding their literacy skills moving forward. While these phonemes are not as basic as the foundational alphabet skills, they are still considered beginner concepts for building literacy.

Supplemental materials for the Primary Level are also available and include curated word lists with both basic and more advanced spelling words for each lesson, as well as supporting sentences for reading and dictation practice. These are not necessary for completion of the lessons, but are a bonus if you would like to use them to practice with your child in between lessons. As with any challenge, the more your child practices, the faster they will master the concepts and strengthen their literacy skills.
